·         Emthonjeni advocates for its patients to receive disability grants, identity documents and birth certificates where necessary

·         Emthonjeni works closely with the Regional Department of Social Development in an effort to address some of the social problems encountered by patients

·         Referrals are key in view of some aspects that Emthonjeni does not focus on, meeting the diverse needs of the cliental
